The appealing Windjammer Landing resort is specifically designed to look like a Mediterranean village, its whitewashed villas, topped with terracotta tiles and decorated with archways and stucco facades, terraced into a steep hillside. All the 161 units of accommodation are suites and villas, with the most luxurious, some with private pools, closest to the top of the hill, enjoying sensational views. The resort is not really suitable for people with walking difficulties, but shuttle buses are available on request to convey guests over the steep switchback roads between the villas and the resort centre.
The service at the Windjammer Landing is highly rated — all guests on arrival are allocated a personal ambassador, to ensure their every need and wish is taken care of, and children too are given an individual welcome by a counsellor from the Kids’ Club. There is a very wide choice of dining venues, ranging from fine dining to the casual beachfront bar and grill, which in the evening becomes a cocktail bar with live calypso music — and it’s also possible, at a price, to have a chef cook you a special meal in your own villa. The resort offers a luxury wedding package called Tropical Bliss, which can be completely customised to your wishes.
